Week of November 1-5

Hello Trailblazer Families, 

It's hard to believe today marks the end of Trimester #1 for our students. Please take time to celebrate all of our students' hard work this Trimester. It's been such a celebration to have our students back on campus and in full-time capacity this year. Thank you for helping keep our students safe and healthy so they can remain in school. Report cards will be emailed home November 12th and a reminder that Monday, November 1st there is no school for students.

We had a Village Meeting this past Wednesday, October 27th. Students practiced scenarios in which they had a problem that they needed to solve. We discussed different resources we could use to solve our problems and who to go to for help. We will continue to focus on the following Essentials and Habit #2: Know Before You Do.

Our students also received a brand new Village T-shirt this week thanks to our PTC who helped make that happen for our students. Students should have up to date sizes now!

Parent/Teacher Conferences
Our Parent/Teacher Conference week is coming up in November (11/15-11/19). Students have an early dismissal each day this week.  Please look below for the schedule. 

ALL Kindergarten Students attend from 8:20-11:56.
ALL Students in Grades 1-5 attend from 8:55- 12:40.

WEEKLY NEWS Hello Diamond Creek Families! We hope week #3 of Distance Learning went well for you.  Our weekly class Zoom meetings are definitely a highlight for our teachers and staff. November 27-December 1

Updates from our week at Diamond Creek  Thank you to all of our parents for taking time to meet with your child's teacher this week.  Our teachers appreciate this face to face meeting time with you.  We are all a team working together to help each child at Diamond Creek be successful and your support is such an important piece of the puzzle.  Thank you for your time and support! On Tuesday, we were lucky enough to have our local Fire Department visit us and lead us through a fire safety assembly.  The students learned what to do in the case of a fire and were able to see the transformation that happens when our firefighters put on all of their gear.  On Wednesday, we had a building wide "READING DRILL".  We all stopped, dropped and read! It was a delight to see students throughout our whole building reading for 15 minutes all together.  I had so many students afterwards tell me they wished it was longer and ask if we could do that everyday! Week of September 12-16, 2022

  9/9/2022   Happy Friday Trailblazer families,   We completed our LEAD Passport adventure today.  Your children have now traveled to all 7 of our common areas to learn what it looks like to be great Listeners, be Empathetic, be Accountable and how to be Disciplined. Due to the smoke, we had them meet in their Village Meeting Spot and the presenters traveled to the students.
