Week of September 28 - October 2

  WEEKLY NEWS We had a great week here at Diamond Creek. It is amazing to see the dedication from teachers, students and parents as we navigate school through distance learning. Getting to meet students in their classes via zoom and see the great work teachers and students are achieving is such a highlight for me.  MATERIAL PICK UP ROUND #3. This week, Thursday October 1st and Friday October 2nd are material pick up days. You only need to pick up items if your child's teacher has notified you of items to be picked up.  HERE is the schedule but please know that if the specific times do not work for you, you're welcome to come at the time that does.  Mrs. Wing our school Librarian has created a Diamond Creek Virtual Library. WEEKLY NEWS It was so great to see students in their village shirts and participating in their village rally Thursday. Students focused on Habit #1 I'm in Charge of Me. Students were so thoughtful in how they applied this habit to their life and distance learning life. Teachers shared this FORM with students allowing them to earn village village points for filling out the form. In the form they will share how they're going to solve problems on their own. WEEKLY NEWS We had an exciting week at Diamond Creek with our Special Sorting Day Zoom Rally for our TK/Kinder and all new students to Diamond Creek!! Over 110 students found out their Village on Wednesday morning!  Then we kicked off our Villages on Thursday with an all school rally which was completed in individual classrooms via Zoom.  Linked below are the 7 Habits we discuss at Diamond Creek.
