Week of November 30- December 4

Hello Trailblazer Families,  We hope you and your families have a nice break and a Happy Thanksgiving. We know breaks and holidays are different this year, but we wish you all the happiness in the small moments. Thank you for all of your support throughout the last few weeks as we brought students back on to campus. We appreciate you keeping students home when they are ill and helping us stay in school. Enjoy the break! After break, we will have our next Village Meeting on Thursday, December 3rd. Our students will continue to review Habit #3: Make Priorities Matter and do some fun activities within their own classrooms. Congratulations to our Makkiti Village who earned lunch with me this week from being our top October Dojo winner! Students earn dojo points by modeling our habits and essentials. It was so great to see our Makkiti students and it was such a fun way for me to be able to see our Champions students as well! Linked below are the 7 Habits we discuss at Diamond Creek. Ove

Week of November 16-20

Hello Trailblazer Families,  We hope you and your families had a great week! Students on site were settling into their on site routines this week and working hard with their learning! Our students continue to do an incredible job following our procedures, wearing masks, and interacting with each other in a safe way. We appreciate all of your support keeping your students home if they do not feel well. This helps us keep as many students as possible on site and learning in our classrooms. Thank you for your help! We had a Village Rally this week in our classrooms. We reviewed Habit #3: Making Priorities Matter . In our rally we did our school chant, listened to a story and had some great class discussion. We discussed our strength areas as individuals, areas we can improve and how to focus on putting our best effort forward the first time. Our goal for our DC students over the next few weeks is to think about one thing they can do better at and focus their attention on improving in

Hello Trailblazer Families,  Welcome back to all of our students and families returning to on campus instruction and a huge hello to all of our Champions families. We hope you all had a great week as we transitioned into new learning spaces. On site, we had a great week welcoming students back. I am amazed at how well students did adjusting to all of our safety procedures. There were so many smiles underneath those masks and lots of excitement to be back in the classroom with teachers and peers. If you have not yet had a chance to review our Diamond Creek Procedures video, watch this video as a family to become familiar with our school-wide expectations.  HERE is a campus map that will help students in navigating campus. Thank you for all of your help and support keeping our students safe and healthy. They did so well with these procedures! Our next Village Rally is coming up this Thursday, November 12th. Students are encouraged to wear their Village T-shirt or color! We wil
