WEEKLY NEWS
In honor of Read Across America Day our students were diving into good books all day today! We had green eggs and ham being served in some of our 1st grade classrooms, Read Alouds happening with special guests, a Read-a-Thon, Book Tasting and more! Students were engaged and diving into good books throughout the day today.

Our next Village Meeting is coming up this Wednesday, March 6th. We will continue talking about Habit #5: Listen & Learn  and practice our active listening skills.  Students are continuing to work hard each day to exhibit these habits at school and we hope you see the same at home too!

A reminder that Wednesday, March 6th is a minimum day for our students.  Students will be dismissed at 2:05 on Wednesday.  Report cards will be sent home on  Friday, March 8th.  Thank you for all of your support in your child's education.

St. Baldrick's Foundation: Rock the Bald: To Conquer Childhood Cancers
Diamond Creek has partnered with some local elementary schools to participate in the St. Baldrick's Rock The Bald event on March 28, 2019. If you are interested in participating in this event or learning more, please see the documents attached below.

ALL RETURNING AND NEW STUDENTS MUST REGISTER!!

Registration is officially open in RCSD!!   Registration is all done online for new students and returning students. Below is a list of what documents you will need to scan and upload during that process for new students.

 Birth Certificate (County copy)
 Proof of Residency – acceptable documents are PG&E or Roseville Electric. It must be the page
with your name and “service address”
 Photo ID of parent
Once you have completed your registration, we need you to bring the immunization record for your
student to the school office.

Current 5th grade students do still need to register so that our system will move them into Middle School.  Any current students not planning to attend Diamond Creek next year, please call the office to let us know.

NEED HELP WITH REGISTRATION?
Roseville City School District will be open Tuesday, March 5th from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM
for parents/guardians to come in and receive assistance in registering their children for the upcoming
2019-2020 school year.


Our District Office is located at 1050 Main Street.  Bi-lingual staff will be on hand to assist you
in getting your Access ID and Passwords to complete your child’s registration.  If you already have your
access to the PowerSchool Parent Portal, but are experiencing technical difficulty, staff will be available
to assist you.


Please note, to protect the privacy and safety of our student(s), we are unable to provide your
Access ID and Passwords over the phone or via email.  Parents will be required to show
identification to complete the registration process.

New to RCSD and need to still register? Simply bring your child's birth certificate, and proof of residence to
complete the online registration process.

W.A.T.C.H. DOGS - NEW SPRING DATES ADDED!!
Winter and Spring dates have now been added to our sign up sheet for WATCH DOGS.  We love having our Dads and Father Figures helping us throughout the day at Diamond Creek.

Village Meeting & Rally Dates
Click HERE for all of our Village Rally and Meeting dates for the 2018-19 school year.  Our Meetings and Rallys occur on Wednesdays and are from 10:50-11:20.  On these days students are encouraged to wear their Village T-shirt or their Village color.
