WEEKLY NEWS
This week two of our 3rd grade classes visited the Bernhard Museum and two more classes will go next week. This is a field trip our 3rd grade students definitely look forward to and come back with lots of excitement! Our 5th grade students visited The Lawrence Hall of Science this week and came back very excited to share their learning as well.  These are exciting field trips our students look forward to at these grade levels.

We will have our next Village Meeting on Wednesday, April 3rd.  Our Villages will continue to discuss Habit #6: All in This Together.    Students are encouraged to wear their Village T-shirts or Village colors on Wednesday.

We shared this date many months ago but want to make sure you have it saved on your calendars! It's hard to believe May is not too far away.  Our Open House will be Thursday, May 16th from 6:00-7:30.  This is a time for our students to show you all their hard work from this school year.

W.A.T.C.H. DOGS - NEW SPRING DATES ADDED!!
Winter and Spring dates have now been added to our sign up sheet for WATCH DOGS.  We love having our Dads and Father Figures helping us throughout the day at Diamond Creek.

Village Meeting & Rally Dates
Click HERE for all of our Village Rally and Meeting dates for the 2018-19 school year.  Our Meetings and Rallys occur on Wednesdays and are from 10:50-11:20.  On these days students are encouraged to wear their Village T-shirt or their Village color.

WEEKLY NEWS Hello Diamond Creek Families! We hope week #3 of Distance Learning went well for you.  Our weekly class Zoom meetings are definitely a highlight for our teachers and staff. Updates from our week at Diamond Creek  Thank you to all of our parents for taking time to meet with your child's teacher this week.  Our teachers appreciate this face to face meeting time with you.  We are all a team working together to help each child at Diamond Creek be successful and your support is such an important piece of the puzzle.  Thank you for your time and support! On Tuesday, we were lucky enough to have our local Fire Department visit us and lead us through a fire safety assembly.  The students learned what to do in the case of a fire and were able to see the transformation that happens when our firefighters put on all of their gear.  On Wednesday, we had a building wide "READING DRILL".  We all stopped, dropped and read! It was a delight to see students throughout our whole building reading for 15 minutes all together.  I had so many students afterwards tell me they wished it was longer and ask if we could do that everyday! Week of September 12-16, 2022

  9/9/2022   Happy Friday Trailblazer families,   We completed our LEAD Passport adventure today.  Your children have now traveled to all 7 of our common areas to learn what it looks like to be great Listeners, be Empathetic, be Accountable and how to be Disciplined. Due to the smoke, we had them meet in their Village Meeting Spot and the presenters traveled to the students.
