Updates from our week at Diamond Creek
We had some great events this week that showcased the hard work and talent of our students. On Tuesday, our Choir students performed an amazing concert for our parents. They sounded beautiful! Our 3rd grade students also showcased their learning this week with their Holiday Play. Third grade students had the opportunity to perform for their peers at Diamond Creek on Wednesday and Thursday during the school day with a night performance on Thursday for our 3rd grade families. The Holiday Show was another great success! Congratulations to all of our students who performed!
A reminder that Friday is a minimum day at Diamond Creek, students are dismissed at 2:05.

Box Tops
Thank you to everyone for their hard work in clipping and collecting box tops for Diamond Creek. We collected 3000 box tops over the summer and through October, which means $300 for our school! Remember families, keep clipping, saving and turning in your Box Tops. You may give them to your teacher or put them in the collection box in the office. Our goal this year is to raise $1200. We're 1/4 of the way there! The more box tops we receive, the more $$$ Diamond Creek gets! The next submission deadline is December 22. The next drawing will be held on January 1.
Strep Throat
There have been several cases of strep throat at Diamond Creek. Practicing good hygiene techniques such as hand washing, covering all coughs and sneezes, and not sharing food or drinks can help decrease the chance of getting and spreading diseases like strep throat.
BYOD
Our 3rd through 5th grade students are part of our BYOD classrooms at Diamond Creek. If you are looking for a great holiday gift for your child, please click on the links below to learn about pricing available to our parents in Roseville City Schools.

WATCH D.O.G.S.
We had more WATCH D.O.G.S. this week and it was AWESOME!! Thank you to all of our Dads that have signed up for day(s) so far this year! Your positive reinforcement truly makes a difference!
Please click on the link below to sign up for a WATCH D.O.G.S. day if you are interested! Mrs. Garcia will send out another form in November for the remainder of the year. If there is a day after January that you are interested in signing up, just email Mrs. Garcia to sign up. Stay tuned for our 2nd WATCH D.O.G.S. event that will happen in January - Donuts with Dads! Thank you for all of your support starting this program at Diamond Creek. We are excited to have so many positive male role models at Diamond Creek helping with our students. A reminder that all WATCH D.O.G.S need to have fingerprinting and TB testing cleared through the district. New DATES were added to this form which continue into January and February.
