Week of April 24-28, 2023

Happy Friday Trailblazer families,

We had a fantastic Village rally today put together by our Ayawepem Village staff and students.  Today we talked about Finding our Balance and being Disciplined by focusing on thinking positive thoughts each day.  We had a fun “minute to win it” game with book balancing too!  Have your child show you how they can balance a book while laying down and then stand all the way up without dropping it!  Thank you to our awesome Ayawepem Village for a wonderful Rally!

PTC NEWS

GUMMIES STILL NEEDED: In order to support our safe routes program and our upcoming walk to school days, we are still in need of 50 large Costco boxes of gummies to get us to the end of the school year. If you can donate, please drop them off at the main office. The kids thank you in advance!

FUNDRAISER:  World’s Biggest Bounce Park is at the Galleria.  Have a great time with the kids while supporting Diamond Creek Elementary.  Reserve your time at FunBox.com, use PROMO CODE “DCES23” for $3.00 off plus 20% will be donated back to our school.

BIRTHDAY WISHES:  Does your child have a birthday between now and the end of the school year?  Now is a great time to submit a form to have their birthday on our marquee message board in front of the school to make their day extra special!  CLICK HERE for the form.  You can hand it in to the front office or email it to marquee@diamondcreekptc.com if paying with PayPal.

SAFE ROUTES: If your student would like to participate in Safe Routes, meet us every Thursday mornings at either the front main gate or side gate to get a shoe tag or get scanned.  Don’t forget to go to Active4.me to register their tag so you can get notifications with your student on campus.  Each week, one student from each grade will win the weekly raffle and pick out a prize.

Have a fabulous weekend everyone!

Warmest regards,

Mrs. Phillips
