Week of March 13-17, 2023

 Happy Friday Trailblazer families,

Our Third Trimester has begun and it’s full of new adventures for our Trailblazers!  Our 5th grade had a wonderful STEAM museum assembly on Monday, courtesy of the PTC!    The kids had a great time exploring the various stations set up!  Thank you amazing PTC!  On Tuesday, the First Grade classes had a blast on their field trip to Roller King!  Our first set of 3rd grade classes traveled back in time to the Bernhard Museum on Thursday!  It was so fun to see their handmade fruit crates and dolls as they got off the bus!

STAFF DEVELOPMENT DAY

Just a quick reminder, this Monday, March 13th is a Staff Development Day.

We hope that you enjoy the 3-day weekend and we look forward to

seeing the students return on Tuesday, March 14th!

PARKING LOT REMINDERS

We've recently had an increase of people using our Handicapped marked spaces by the office to do a quick pick up or drop off.  Please keep our Handicapped spaces open for our families that have an official placard or license plate.

Also, one more quick reminder that our Kindergarten Loop drop off/pick up area is open to one lane only.  Please do not create a second row in the parking lot to pick up your students, this blocks the flow of traffic when people are trying to park in the lot.  Thank you for making safe choices in our parking lot to help keep our Trailblazers safe!

IT’S NOT TOO LATE-ENROLL NOW FOR THE 23-24 SCHOOL YEAR!

Do you know of any neighbors with future 23-24 Diamond Creek Kindergarteners?  Please share with them that they can register their children right now for our next school year.

REGISTRATION BEGAN ON 1/23/23-All families must register each year

Thank you to those families who have completed your registration for next year already.  If you haven’t registered, please make sure to complete your registration as soon as possible.  This timely information helps us best prepare to meet and accommodate all our students’ needs.

New and Returning Student Registration - Opened 1/23/23 7:00 AM

Every current student must complete the returning student registration to be placed in a class for next year.  This includes 5th graders moving to middle school. Please complete this as soon as possible. Registration

If you know you are not returning to Diamond Creek next year, please contact the office.

Transfers - If you are currently on an inter-district transfer (living outside of RCSD) you need to do a new transfer annually.

If you are a 5th grader on an inter/intra transfer and you live outside of Cooley boundaries, you would need to complete a transfer to go to Cooley.

If you have a TK student on a current inter/intra transfer, you need to complete one for kindergarten to stay at Diamond Creek. Transfers
