WALK-A-THON FUN
We had a great time at our Walk-a-thon today! Thank you to the numerous volunteers who helped make this event a success! The kids enjoyed accumulating their laps as they rocked out to the fantastic music provided by the Bach 2 Rock! Make sure to have all of your pledge envelopes turned in by next week. For more information, see the PTC News below.
SEPTEMBER’S HOT LUNCH MENU ERROR
Just a head’s up that we DO have school on September 23rd. There was an error in the original September menu that made it appear that we didn’t have school that day. We will be here on Friday, September 23rd, ready to celebrate our 2nd Village Rally.
PARKING LOT SAFETY REMINDERS
Beginning next week our Student Safety Patrol will begin assisting with drop off and pick up. We have been working with the City of Roseville and AAA to provide training and gear for our student helpers.
Just a couple friendly reminders that when dropping off or picking up your children in the Bus Loop, please pull forward to the very FRONT of the loop, please do not stop to unload or pick up in the MIDDLE of the loop if there is space in front of you. This limits the amount of cars in the loop at one time and can be a safety issue when cars try to pull around other cars that are stopped.
Also, kindness and patience can go a long way, especially in the presence of our students. I appreciate everyone remembering that we are all doing the best we can to make the drop off and pick up process as SAFE and EFFICIENT as possible.

WALK A THON: Today was Diamond Creek’s annual Walk-A-Thon event and it was a huge success. Please remember that donations are due on Friday, September 23 but 99Pledges is open until September 28. Envelopes to collect donations were sent home. There are top fundraiser prizes available. Please no cash!
GIVE BACK WEDNESDAY: Silhouette Night – September 21 – 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Volunteers will project your student’s silhouette onto the wall. We will trace, cut and glue. You get to take this keepsake home to treasure for years to come. Please see Sign Up Genius to reserve your spot. https://m.signupgenius.com/#!/showSignUp/10c0f49a9ad29aafec25-give1
SAFE ROUTES: The City of Roseville’s Safe Routes to School program will be putting on a Safety Assembly for Trailblazer students on Thursday, September 22. The assembly will cover helmet safety, bicycle safety and street safety. Students will learn how to correctly wear a helmet using the “2 Fingers” rule, how to perform an A-B-C bike check before riding and how to be safe when walking or rolling. The assembly wraps up with an exciting visual demonstration to show why wearing a helmet when on wheels is so important!
SAFE ROUTES: If your student would like to participate in Safe Routes, meet us Thursday mornings at either the front main gate or side gate to get a shoe tag. Then go to Active4.me to register their tag so you can get notifications with your student on campus. Each week, students that participate get entered to win a prize.
FALL FESTIVAL: Save the Date – Friday, October 14! Details will be coming home out soon.
Here's to a fabulous week living the Trailblazer life!
