Week of November 8-12

Hello Trailblazer Families, 

We had a great Week #1 of Trimester #2 this week. Report cards will be emailed home on Friday, November 12th. Your classroom teacher will have a hard copy to share with you at parent/teacher conferences the week of November 15th. We look forward to our time with you during parent/teacher conferences as this is a meaningful time for us to share where your child is at in their learning journey at Diamond Creek. Please see the information below regarding early release times the week of November 15th.

We have a Village Rally coming up on Wednesday, November 10th. Students are encouraged to wear their Village T-shirt or color. We will be kicking off Habit #3: Make Priorities Matter. Students have brand new Village T-shirts they are welcome to wear as well - thank you to our PTC for providing those for our students!

Parent/Teacher Conferences
Our Parent/Teacher Conference week is coming up in November (11/15-11/19). Students have an early dismissal each day this week.  Please look below for the schedule. 

ALL Kindergarten Students attend from 8:20-11:56.
ALL Students in Grades 1-5 attend from 8:55- 12:40.

WEEKLY NEWS Hello Diamond Creek Families! We hope week #3 of Distance Learning went well for you.  Our weekly class Zoom meetings are definitely a highlight for our teachers and staff. Updates from our week at Diamond Creek  Thank you to all of our parents for taking time to meet with your child's teacher this week.  Our teachers appreciate this face to face meeting time with you.  We are all a team working together to help each child at Diamond Creek be successful and your support is such an important piece of the puzzle.  Thank you for your time and support! On Tuesday, we were lucky enough to have our local Fire Department visit us and lead us through a fire safety assembly.  The students learned what to do in the case of a fire and were able to see the transformation that happens when our firefighters put on all of their gear.  On Wednesday, we had a building wide "READING DRILL".  We all stopped, dropped and read! It was a delight to see students throughout our whole building reading for 15 minutes all together.  I had so many students afterwards tell me they wished it was longer and ask if we could do that everyday! Week of September 12-16, 2022

  9/9/2022   Happy Friday Trailblazer families,   We completed our LEAD Passport adventure today.  Your children have now traveled to all 7 of our common areas to learn what it looks like to be great Listeners, be Empathetic, be Accountable and how to be Disciplined. Due to the smoke, we had them meet in their Village Meeting Spot and the presenters traveled to the students.
