Week of November 9-13
Hello Trailblazer Families,
Welcome back to all of our students and families returning to on campus instruction and a huge hello to all of our Champions families. We hope you all had a great week as we transitioned into new learning spaces. On site, we had a great week welcoming students back. I am amazed at how well students did adjusting to all of our safety procedures. There were so many smiles underneath those masks and lots of excitement to be back in the classroom with teachers and peers.
If you have not yet had a chance to review our Diamond Creek Procedures video, watch this video as a family to become familiar with our school-wide expectations. HERE is a campus map that will help students in navigating campus. Thank you for all of your help and support keeping our students safe and healthy. They did so well with these procedures!
Our next Village Rally is coming up this Thursday, November 12th. Students are encouraged to wear their Village T-shirt or color! We will be completing these rallies and meetings within classrooms as we did with distance learning.
Linked below are the 7 Habits we discuss at Diamond Creek. Over the school year, we will spend time each month reviewing one of the 7 Habits along with the essentials that align with each Habit.
GREEN & GOLD DAYS!!
We will continue to show our Diamond Creek school spirit through our spirit days on Fridays!! We encourage our students to wear green and gold or their Diamond Creek spirit wear on Fridays! We will once again have spirit wear class winners and be passing along the "virtual boot".
Arrival/Dismissal Reminders:
Thank you for helping keep our students safe! Please remember to follow these safety procedures when entering and exiting campus.
1. Drivers please drive slowly through our neighborhoods and bus loops
2. Pull all the way up when moving through the loop, this helps us get more cars in the loop
3. The bus loops are not parking lots. If you would like to park and get out of your car, please use our lots or street parking to do so.
4. Please walk bikes and scooters on campus

Meal Duty Opportunity
We are looking for one more meal duty to help us with our nutrition break supervision on campus. This is a one hour position from 10:00-11:00 each day. Our meal duties help us supervise our break times to keep students healthy and safe. Please email Mrs. Garcia if you would like more details or are interested in the position.
