Week of January 27-31

WEEKLY NEWS
It was a fast and furious week of learning at Diamond Creek this week! We also celebrated 100 days of school for our students this year and 1000 days of school for our 5th grade students! Students have much to celebrate as they have made so much progress along their learning journey in these 100 days!! We are excited to continue this journey alongside each of our students.

At our rally this week we reviewed Habit #4: I am Mindful of Others. We reviewed how our body language and tone of voice effect our communication and how that is perceived by others.  We also introduced our new Essential: When you win, do not brag. When you lose, do not show anger.  At our rally we talked about celebrations and how we should celebrate our improvement, home runs, hard work, etc but how that changes when it goes to bragging vs. celebrating.  We will discuss this Habit and Essential more at our Village Meeting in two weeks.
