Week of October 23-27
Updates from our week at Diamond Creek
It was another week of exciting learning at Diamond Creek! Our 4th grade students went on a field trip to Sutter's Fort and came back excited to share all of the details and connections they made on the trip! Our second grade students were busy writing letters to their pen pals at Vencil Brown and I enjoyed listening to our Kindergarten authors share their stories with the class. Make sure to check out our Twitter page too as our 5th grade students had a special weather visitor from KCRA! To top it off we had some great cowboys and cowgirls dressed up for our spirit day today!
We are enjoying the presence of our WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) on campus as well! These Dads have been so helpful with drop off and pick up supervision, reading with students, playing with them at recess and enjoying being part of our day at Diamond Creek! We are thankful for all of our Dads who are making a difference for our students at Diamond Creek and being a positive role model. Thank you WATCH D.O.G.S. To all of our "father figures" of students, please click on the link listed below to sign up for a day if you are interested in helping us out throughout the week. We appreciate you!
Finally, make sure to check out Student News for other highlights happening at Diamond Creek.

Lost & Found
It's that time of year again! Our Lost & Found is beginning to fill up! We lay out all items during lunch time and try to show each group of students. Please ask your child to continue checking our lost and found for any items you may be missing and writing your child's name in jackets and sweatshirts is very helpful! Thank you
