Updates from our week at Diamond Creek 
We had a great week of learning at Diamond Creek! I enjoy walking through classrooms and talking with our students about their learning.  There is learning happening everywhere from students diving into great books, collaborating with each other, working on Google Classroom, and getting hands on with Science learning.  Make sure to check out our Twitter page to see the daily stories and learning happening at Diamond Creek.

We kicked off our WATCH D.O.G.S. program this week! Thank you to all of our Dads that were able to join us for our pizza night.  Read below for more information on how to sign up to be a WATCH D.O.G. for a day.

Walk to School on October 4th, 2017
We are encouraging all of our students to walk or bike to school on Wednesday! We will have music, fun, and special snacks for our students that walk or bike to school.  

 Morning Safety Patrol
We are looking for 1-2 more parents to help us with our morning cross walk area. If you are interested and able, please email Mrs. Garcia. 

WATCH D.O.G.S.
Please click on the link below to sign up for a WATCH D.O.G.S. day if you are interested! Mrs. Garcia will send out another form in November for the remainder of the year. If there is a day after January that you are interested in signing up, just email Mrs. Garcia to sign up.  Stay tuned for our 2nd WATCH D.O.G.S. event that will happen in January - Donuts with Dads! Thank you for all of your support starting this program at Diamond Creek. We are excited to have so many positive male role models at Diamond Creek helping with our students.

WEEKLY NEWS Hello Diamond Creek Families! We hope week #3 of Distance Learning went well for you.  Our weekly class Zoom meetings are definitely a highlight for our teachers and staff. Updates from our week at Diamond Creek  Thank you to all of our parents for taking time to meet with your child's teacher this week.  Our teachers appreciate this face to face meeting time with you.  We are all a team working together to help each child at Diamond Creek be successful and your support is such an important piece of the puzzle.  Thank you for your time and support! On Tuesday, we were lucky enough to have our local Fire Department visit us and lead us through a fire safety assembly.  The students learned what to do in the case of a fire and were able to see the transformation that happens when our firefighters put on all of their gear.  On Wednesday, we had a building wide "READING DRILL".  We all stopped, dropped and read! It was a delight to see students throughout our whole building reading for 15 minutes all together.  I had so many students afterwards tell me they wished it was longer and ask if we could do that everyday! Week of September 12-16, 2022

  9/9/2022   Happy Friday Trailblazer families,   We completed our LEAD Passport adventure today.  Your children have now traveled to all 7 of our common areas to learn what it looks like to be great Listeners, be Empathetic, be Accountable and how to be Disciplined. Due to the smoke, we had them meet in their Village Meeting Spot and the presenters traveled to the students.
