iReady Testing
Our 2nd through 5th grade students began their third round of iReady testing this week. This is a diagnostic test in ELA and Math which allows us to measure progress of our students and determine individual needs. Our teams use this data to plan intervention groups and to meet the individual needs of each student.
Parent Survey
An email went out this week regarding our Parent Survey. Please click on the link below to complete this survey before March 1st , 2017. Your feedback is important to us as we strive to continuously grow and improve for our students and families at Diamond Creek. Our Site Council will review the data from this survey at our March 8th meeting. If you have multiple students at Diamond Creek and would answer the questions differently based on each child, please feel free to complete a survey for each student. Thank you

Morning Safety Patrol
We now have some 4th and 5th grade students who are helping us with our bus loop in the mornings. They will have orange vests on and be standing in the large bus loop. Please pull up all the way to the end of the loop when entering and our 4th and 5th graders will help open doors and greet your students. This allows the students to hop right out so that you as a driver can continue moving through the bus loop. Please remember to always form one line in the bus loop, we have been close to some accidents from cars trying to go around cars. Please wait in line for your turn to pull up, do not form another line to go around cars.
We ask that you are not using your cell phone while driving on to our campus to pick up or drop off students, this can be distracting and cause unsafe conditions for our students. We want to make sure to keep our students safe, please drive slow and use patience in the bus loops.
Adult supervision begins at 8:45 am, please do not have students arrive on campus before this time. Thank you
