Hello Trailblazer Families,

We had another AMAZING All-School Village Rally on Wednesday. We kicked off Habit #7: Find Your Balance. Students had time to reflect on ways they find balance in their life and also participate in a fun minute-to-win-it game. It's incredible to see our Villages back together, representing their Village as a school.

Please note the deadline to order Yearbooks is quickly approaching - APRIL 4th! Information is listed below.

The times for our start and end time were previously shared in an email in February. Please note we will now dismiss at 2:02 instead of 2:12. The start time for next year is still 7:45. Thank you

YEARBOOK INFORMATION

A yellow flier went home with students to purchase a yearbook for this school year.  This is the FIRST and ONLY OPPORTUNITY to purchase a book filled with memories from the 2021-22 school year. Sales will run through April 4th and when they are done, they are done! We do not order extras to sell at the end of the year so do not delay and place your order today!

OPEN HOUSE - May 11th, 2022

Our Open House date is May 11th from 5:30-7:00. We are excited to welcome all of our families back to Open House this year as our students will have many amazing things to show you from their school year. This is also a minimum day for students. Students are dismissed at 2:05.

WEEKLY NEWS Hello Diamond Creek Families! We hope week #3 of Distance Learning went well for you.  Our weekly class Zoom meetings are definitely a highlight for our teachers and staff. Updates from our week at Diamond Creek  Thank you to all of our parents for taking time to meet with your child's teacher this week.  Our teachers appreciate this face to face meeting time with you.  We are all a team working together to help each child at Diamond Creek be successful and your support is such an important piece of the puzzle.  Thank you for your time and support! On Tuesday, we were lucky enough to have our local Fire Department visit us and lead us through a fire safety assembly.  The students learned what to do in the case of a fire and were able to see the transformation that happens when our firefighters put on all of their gear.  On Wednesday, we had a building wide "READING DRILL".  We all stopped, dropped and read! It was a delight to see students throughout our whole building reading for 15 minutes all together.  I had so many students afterwards tell me they wished it was longer and ask if we could do that everyday! Week of September 12-16, 2022

  9/9/2022   Happy Friday Trailblazer families,   We completed our LEAD Passport adventure today.  Your children have now traveled to all 7 of our common areas to learn what it looks like to be great Listeners, be Empathetic, be Accountable and how to be Disciplined. Due to the smoke, we had them meet in their Village Meeting Spot and the presenters traveled to the students.
