Hello Trailblazer Families,  Thank you again for all of your support with our 16th Annual Walk-a-Thon! Walk-a-Thon envelopes were due today but our 99 Pledges sites will remain open through October 1st! We appreciate all of your support with this incredible fundraiser for our students. A reminder there is no school for students this Thursday, September 30th and Friday, October 1st as our staff will be participating in Professional Development. We will have our next Village Meeting this Wednesday, September 29th. Our meetings will be held within student's classrooms to follow all updated COVID protocols and procedures. We will be reviewing Habit #1: I am in Charge of Me along with the essentials below: 1. Be Responsible for Your Trash 2. Move Around Respectfully and Safely 3. Try To Solve Your Own Problems 4. Hello Trailblazer Families,  We had an amazing week at Diamond Creek filled with learning and fun with our Diamond Creek spirit days! Our Walk-a-Thon was a huge success for our students. We are excited we were able to make this event happen for our students and staff while following all of our COVID-19 safety procedures. We appreciate all of your support through our Walk-a-Thon. Students can still collect Walk-a-Thon donations as envelopes are not due until September 24th! All of our Walk-a-Thon dollars go back into our classrooms to positively impact our students and their learning experience at Diamond Creek. Hello Trailblazer Families,  We are gearing up for a big week at Diamond Creek with our DC Spirit Week leading up to our 16th Annual Walk-a-Thon! Hello Trailblazer Families,  We hope you have a wonderful three day weekend with your family and stay safe and well! Our students and staff had an amazing time at our All-School Village Rally this week which was hosted outside. Students came wearing their Village colors and T-shirts and it was truly magical to have students back together. Our 4th & 5th grade buddies did an amazing job of escorting our TK/Kinder and 1st grade buddies to and from the rally. We love the leadership and strong connections that our students make through our Villages. As a school, we will kick of Habit #1: I am in Charge of Me in two weeks at our September 15th Rally.
