Week of January 22-26
Updates from our week at Diamond Creek
On Monday we will kick off our Pennies for Patients drive at Diamond Creek! All of our students will participate in an assembly on Monday to kick off this great event which helps us support children battling cancer. Make sure to ask your student about our school goal and the exciting events happening.
On Tuesday morning we will have our Dads & Donuts. This is our 2nd kick off event for our WATCH D.O.G.S. program. Please join us with your student(s) for some donuts and time to learn about this great father involvement program and how to become a WATCH D.O.G. Please RSVP HERE. We want to make sure to have enough donuts for students and father figures.
Tuesday evening is our Chic-Fil-A night for Diamond Creek. Our wonderful staff will be there working and greeting our families! We hope to see you for dinner!
Please remember when picking up or dropping off your child(ren):
1. The kindergarten loop and large bus loop are drop off areas only. This is not an area to park or get out of your car. Please pull all the way up in the loop to allow cars behind you to continue pulling in. This helps with the overall flow of our traffic. If you need to park or get out of your car, please use the parking spaces or street parking.
2. Please stay off your cell phone and turn music down so that you can be fully aware of your surroundings.
3. Please pay attention to our areas with cones as they are meant to be pathways for cars to travel to keep our students safe.
4. Use our crosswalk areas. Do not cross through the bus loops as cars are moving in and out of the area.
4. Drive slowly through all areas and streets surrounding the school. Students are walking and biking to and from school.
Student safety is our #1 concern. When drivers are not paying attention and following our safe routes, our students, staff and family members are put into danger. Thank you for your support and help in keeping our students safe each day.
