Hello Trailblazer Families,

We are looking forward to Open House this week on Wednesday, May 11th. We are excited to welcome all of our families on site to view the amazing work your students have been preparing. Open House is from 5:30-7:00 at Diamond Creek. Students are dismissed a 2:05 on Wednesday. We can't wait to see you all!

Our FINAL Village Rally of the year was this past Wednesday. Our students enjoyed a final Diamond Creek chant of the year together and played a fun Kahoot game in their Villages which helped us review the Habits and Essentials we've been focusing on this year.

WELCOME Mrs. Phillips! 
Mrs. Phillips, our incoming Diamond Creek principal for the 2022-23 school year, was on site this morning to meet our students and staff. She and Mrs. Garcia walked through classrooms to say hello to students.  We had a great time welcoming Mrs. Phillips to Diamond Creek!

Teachers Who Make a Difference:
Congratulations to our very own Ms. Triplett who was nominated as our Teacher Who Makes a Difference for 2021-22.  Ms. Triplett will be honored at a banquet recognizing teachers in Placer County.  We are so thankful to have Ms. Triplett at Diamond Creek and all of the positive impact she has on our students.  Congratulations Ms. Triplett!

BOOK FAIR & EVENTS -  Week of May 9th-13th - THIS WEEK!!
Grab some books for summer reading at the Spring Book Fair! 

Students can shop during their library time, as well as at lunch and after school (until 4pm).
We’ll be open in the evening 5-7pm during Open House (Wednesday), and during two additional evening events: Ice Cream Social (Tuesday) and Bingo (Thursday). Come find a new book or two!

We have Chicks coming soon in 1st Grade!

Our DC PTC has open board positions for the 2022-23 school year & we need amazing volunteers to help:

Just added this year a FIREWORKS Coordinator & committee!!


Diamond Creek PTC is excited to share a huge fundraising effort, perhaps the biggest one ever!  Phantom Fireworks selects 10 schools/nonprofits each year in a lottery to raise money through working the fireworks stands.  Diamond Creek won the lottery this year!  


Previous fundraisers have earned anywhere from $20,000-$40,000! We need your help to make this effort a success.  


Join the fireworks committee! Seeking volunteers to serve as the fireworks Coordinator & committee.  Working alongside our dedicated Phantom fireworks account manager, oversee sign-ups, coordinate restocking fireworks when needed, connect with the account manager on questions, etc.

Join the Diamond Creek Elementary School PTC with our assistance for helping with field trip transportation & costs, assembly's, activities, events, fundraisers, playground equipment, teacher expenses & needs, overall all the fun for the staff, teachers & KIDS & so much more!!!


Just this year our DC PTC purchased a brand new copy machine for our school. Updating & helping all our teachers & ultimately our kids in class.
