Week of April 8-12
WEEKLY NEWS
This week our final two 3rd grade classes visited the Bernhard Museum. They came back tired with many highlights to share!
Our Village Meeting was this week. In our Villages we discussed Habit #6: All in This Together. Students discussed activities that are easier to do in a team vs. alone. We came up with a large list that ranged from sports like basketball, soccer, baseball to building structures in our classroom and solving math problems. We discussed how much better we are together when we help and lift others up.
Our 5th grade students experienced another highlight of 5th grade this week - the sheep heart dissection! Students were highly engaged in this activity and were guided through the various parts of the heart and their functions. It was an amazing hands on learning experience for our students.
