Students are enjoying the surprise of the drill and the opportunity to dive into their favorites books.  Our 3rd grade students were hard at work this week presenting their Holiday Traditions reports. Updates from our week at Diamond Creek  One of our exciting events this week included Santa's Elves visiting our first grade students! Students had written letters to the Elves who then delivered letters back to our students.  Our 1st grade students were thrilled to share their writing with the Elves and even took some of their free time later on to write thank you notes to them.  Coming up this week our Choir students have been hard at work for their Holiday Concert on Tuesday evening! We look forward to hearing their beautiful music!  Our 3rd grade students have also been hard at work preparing for their Holiday Play.  They will be presenting to our Diamond Creek students during the day and our parents the evening of December 14th.  Over the next two weeks you may notice our staff wearing similar apparel.  As a staff we started the 12 Days of Diamond Creek Cheer on Thursday with jeans and flannel day.  A few of our students noticed right aw...

This week our 4th & 5th grade students were organized into villages at our kick off assembly.  The kids seemed to love the assembly and kick-off assembly!  The 8 villages are organized by colors and students will be picking village names and creating banners to represent their village.  Each village is comprised of a teacher along with 4th and 5th grade students.  Villages will be meeting every 3-4 weeks to discuss effective habit skills.  This month the focus will be on how to show appr...
