What's Coming Up This Week? February 27 - March 3 This week we had a visit from the Auburn Symphony. Check out our Twitter page for some live video and pictures from this great event.  Our students were a great audience and loved listening to the beautiful music from these visitors.  Our second grade classes also put on a wonderful play for our students and 2nd grade parents. What's Coming Up This Week? February 20-24 One exciting piece of news to share is that our students raised $9,204.57 for Pennies for Patients! This was almost $3,000 more than our goal.  Thank you to Mrs. Lopez and Ms. Triplett and our Student Council for all of their work with this great event.  I am continuously amazed at our student's caring hearts and commitment to our community.  Thank you for all of your support as well. What's Coming Up This Week? February 13-17 This week we celebrated 100 days of school on Wednesday.  Our students are feeling 100 days smarter and are truly showing this in their learning.  It is so fun to be in classrooms and watching them engaged in reading, explaining their thinking to peers and using technology to enhance their learning.  Our students are working hard and they are enjoying the collaborative time with their peers as well.  Enjoy this three day weekend and hopefully some sunshine! What's Coming Up This Week? February 6-10 What a great week we had this last week! Sammi Circuit family night, Skate Night and 4/5 Movie Night! It is great to see so many of our families participating and enjoying family outings together at these events.  Our students have been working hard to bring in their change for Pennies for Patients. As of last Monday we were over half way to our goal already! It's inspiring to read some of the kind messages and thoughts that our students are writing to loved ones, friends, or others that they know who have battled cancer.  Our students have such giving, kind hearts.
