  1/27/23 Happy Friday Trailblazer families, What a great first five-day week of the new year!  It has been wonderful to see the sun return to campus and to be enjoying recess out on the playgrounds!  We are gearing up for our Pennies for Patients drive for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society next week!  We have a fun spirit week ahead to remind us of our fundraising efforts… I’m looking forward to throwing a party for the top earning T/K-2nd grade class and the top earning 3rd-5th grade class!  Let’s get out there and support a fantastic cause!   Happy Friday Trailblazer families, Today we had a fantastic Village Rally led by Hukeskinu!  We practiced Habit #4, I am Mindful of Others while working on shaking hands, repeating names, and making eye contact.  This Habit falls under the E for being Empathetic in our LEAD acronym.  Thank you to our Hukeskinu Staff Village Leaders for putting together such a wonderful whole school event!   REGISTRATION BEGINS ON 1/23/23 New and Returning Student Registration - Opens 1/23/23 7:00 AM Every current student must complete the returning student registration to be placed in a class for next year.  This includes 5th graders moving to middle school.   Happy Friday Trailblazer families,   Happy New Year!  2023 is here, how can this be?  Time continues to fly here at Diamond Creek!  I hope that this message finds you happy and healthy as we enter the second half of our school year!  It was wonderful to welcome back the students, staff, and families onto our campus this week.     WINTER WEATHER AND PARKING LOT REMINDERS With the return of our wet weather comes an increase to the number of cars at drop off and pick up.  Just a friendly reminder that the flow of traffic will improve when we utilize all of the space in the Bus Loop.  Please pull all the way forward to the end of the loop and refrain from stopping in the middle.  This makes a huge difference in the amount of cars we can have dropping off at a time.   Also, please make sure to use all crosswalks and sidewalks around our campus.  We have noticed an increase of families crossing with their children in...
