Week of November 2-6

Hello Trailblazer Families.

We’re so excited to welcome students on campus Wednesday November 4th. Please watch this video as a family to become familiar with our school-wide expectations. HERE is a campus map that will help students in navigating campus.

Just a reminder that there is No School for students Monday 11/2 and Tuesday 11/3.

Please visit the Roseville City School District website at:  rcsdk8.org for continued updates and information.
All students are expected to wear a cloth face covering/mask that covers the mouth and nose at all times while on campus and in class - including the nutrition break/recess - except while eating or drinking.  The face coverings/masks must be cloth or one of the medical type masks, and at this point, “gaiters” can be worn as long as they cover the mouth and nose.  Our staff will be wearing face coverings/masks, too.
Each classroom will have district-approved disinfectant spray that teachers will be using throughout the day on high touch surfaces. Classrooms will be cleaned and disinfected each day after school.
Frequent hand washing and the use of hand sanitizer is encouraged throughout the day.

All students will have two Nutrition Break/Recess’.  Our RCSD Food Services will be providing a free breakfast to all students during the students’ first break.  Students can also bring food and snacks from home if they wish. Please make sure to send your student(s) to school with a water bottle.   Students will stay in grade level areas during Nutrition Break Recess. Teachers will have a specific place for their class to eat their snack outside socially distanced. When done with their snack students will sanitize and begin a recess.  After this recess students will sanitize when entering their classroom.
All students will receive a free “grab and go” lunch for after school.  The lunch is provided by our RCSD Food Services team, and we are happy this team is providing food for both the Nutrition Break and for the grab and go lunch for after school.  Students must leave campus immediately to walk or ride home.  Parents who pick up students must pick up students immediately after school. Please see the procedure in the video.
Upon entering campus and exiting campus, students and parents can not “hang out” and must distance from each other. We appreciate you and are hopeful for the future when we can return to our gatherings, but for now, we don’t want to encourage groups of students or parents.

November 3rd is a materials pick up for families that have registered for Champions Academy. Your teacher will be notifying you if you will have items to be picked up. This round will be from 7:30am - 4pm anytime you're available. We will not have specific times for last names - please just come at the time that works best for you.

Chromebook Return for In Person/On Campus Students: If you have District Chromebook that we checked out to your student(s) we will be collecting those. November 3rd from 7:30am - 4pm you can drop it off with the charger in the Multi Purpose Room. If you're able to put a post-it-note on it with your child's first and last name that will help our process. We will also have the post-it-notes available if you're unable to. If you're unable to drop it off on November 3rd during that time - please send the Chromebook to school with your child and they can return it in their classroom. If your child is attending Champions Academy you will continue to use the Chromebook and do not need to return it at this time.  Click HERE for more details.
