WEEKLY NEWS Have a wonderful winter break!! We look forward to kicking off 2020 together at Diamond Creek.  Please enjoy this time with family and friends. This week at our Village Rally we reviewed Habit #3: Make Priorities Matter.  We reviewed the goals we have set for ourselves at home and school and how to minimize distractions in order to achieve those goals.  Our Makkiti Village hosted are rally and it was lots of fun! WEEKLY NEWS Coming up this week we have our next Village rally. We will be reviewing  Habit #3: Make Priorities Matter.   Students are encouraged to wear their Village T-shirt or color on Thursday, December 19th. A friendly reminder that this Friday, December 20th is a minimum day. Week of December 9-13

WEEKLY NEWS We had a great week back after break.  Students were all smiles and happy to see their friends and teachers.  We hope you had a wonderful week with family and friends. Over the next few weeks, all of our students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade will have a chance to visit our Amazing Animals room.  This is an extension activity that is brought to us by our wonderful PTC.  Students are able to learn about a variety of animals and even get up close and personal with lizards, snakes, birds, frogs and more! Our students truly love this experience and we thank our PTC for making this happen for our kids. This week during our Village meeting, students reviewed Habit #2: Know Before You Do . We discussed making mistakes and how that is ok! The most important part of a mistake is that we learn from it and move on!
