WEEKLY NEWS Hello Diamond Creek Families - We had a great week of learning at Diamond Creek! As I'm walking through classrooms, students are definitely into the routine and deep into learning.  We will have our first Village Meeting this Thursday, September 5th.  Please have students wear their Village T-shirt or Village color.   We will be doing some team building activities within our Villages.  Students are working very hard on giving eye contact, responding to questions and asking others questions! They are doing an incredible job at school with these habits and we hope you are noticing them at home as well. A reminder there is no school on Monday - enjoy the three day holiday weekend! WEEKLY NEWS Hello Diamond Creek Families! We had so much fun this week kicking off our Villages time with students! On Wednesday, our TK and Kindergarten students had a special sorting day where they found out their Village and received their T-shirt.  Our new friends to Diamond Creek found out which Village they belong to as well!  Then on Thursday we had our first kick off rally for the 2019-20 school year! We reviewed all 7 of our Village names, colors and symbols as well as the 7 Habits they represent.  This first month of school, students are working hard on giving eye contact, greeting others and using kind manners.  We will have our first Village meeting on September 5th where our students will be reacquainted with all of their Village teammates. We have a few big events happening this week including our first PTC meeting on Wednesday, Skate Night on Thursday and PICTURE DAYS as well!! WEEKLY NEWS Hello Diamond Creek Families! I hope your students did well during their first FULL week of school! They are off and running and working hard.  I hope they are coming home with excitement and good stories to share. This week we will kick off our Villages for ALL students! Our TK and Kindergarten students will find out which Village they are part of on Wednesday with our TK/K Sorting Day Celebration.  Then on Thursday, we will have our first Village Rally with all students. Students that are new to Diamond Creek will also find out their Villages this week in their classrooms.  All TK, Kindergarten, and students new to Diamond Creek will receive a Village T-shirt.
