Updates from our week at Diamond Creek  We had an exciting week at Diamond Creek kicking off with the Solar Eclipse on Monday.  Thank you for all of your support at home reenforcing student safety and responsibility throughout this day. It was an amazing experience for our students.  I enjoyed walking through the classrooms to listen to a variety of lessons about the solar eclipse.  Watching the students view the eclipse and hearing  them be amazed was priceless.  Thank you for your support! Thank you to all of our families who came to our Back to School Night on Thursday. We hope you received some helpful information for the upcoming school year from your teacher and from Mrs. Garcia.  If you have any further questions, please never hesitate to ask us! What's Coming Up This Week? August 21-25 Welcome to the 2017-18 school year and to our Diamond Creek school blog! This blog will be updated and included in a messenger to parents every Friday.  Please read our blog for important information and upcoming dates. Our staff have been hard at work this week preparing for an awesome first day of school for your child.  We hope you enjoyed meeting your child's teacher at TK/K orientation or at the ice cream social.  Thank you to our PTC for providing ice cream for our families.  The first two days of school were a true success! As I walked through the classrooms, students were smiling, laughing and enjoying their time with friends and their teachers.  Thank you for helping us kick off a great school year!  We hope your child felt like a rock star on the first day and was excited to come back for Day #2!
