Week of August 30 - September 3

Hello Trailblazer Families,  It was an exciting week at Diamond Creek as students are continuing to learn the routines of the classroom and diving into the academic curriculums in each grade level. Our TK, Kindergarten and all new students to Diamond Creek found out their Village this week! We will kick off Villages this week with an outdoor assembly with all of our Villages. Students are encouraged to wear their Village T-shirt or color. At this time, all of our Village meetings and rallies will be held outside. A reminder that each Monday is a Minimum Day. Students in Grades 1-5 are dismissed at 2:05. Hello Trailblazer Families,  Our students are off and learning! As I was in classrooms this week, students are diving into their Math and ELA routines and building amazing classroom communities. We are so happy to have our students back in our classrooms and learning with us all day. Thank you to all of our parents who attended our first PTC meeting of the year. A huge thank you to our PTC board members who are putting in their time to build events and opportunities for our students and families. We appreciate you! Hello Trailblazer Families,  We had a great full week at Diamond Creek! Our students are quickly getting back in to the routine of school and doing a great job with their teachers and classmates. A reminder that each Monday is a Minimum Day. Students in Grades 1-5 are dismissed at 2:05. Birthday Books We will continue our tradition of birthday books at Diamond Creek! Each student, on their birthday, will have an opportunity to choose a birthday book from Mrs. Garcia's birthday book cart! This is a favorite tradition for our students and Mrs. Garcia! Hello Trailblazer Families,  Welcome back to all of our students and families. It was amazing to have students back on campus this week. I saw many smiles as I was walking around to classrooms and outside at recess with the students. We hope your students had a great first few days back at Diamond Creek! Every week, I will send an email to you on Friday afternoon that includes a link to our Diamond Creek School Blog. In the Blog, I will share important dates and reminders for the upcoming weeks.
