Hello Trailblazer Families, This will be our last Diamond Creek Blog post of the school year. It's hard to believe we are at the conclusion of our 2020-21 school year this week.   WOW! It has been a year and we know it has been no easy task on all of our families throughout distance learning, transitioning back to campus, quarantines and all! Even throughout this roller coaster of a year, we have so much to celebrate! Our students worked so hard on campus and in our Champions Academy. The academic, social and emotional growth they have made this year is truly incredible and we as a staff are so thankful for all of our time with your children this year. By the end of the school year, your child's teacher will be sending you an end of year showcase that each of our classrooms completed since we were not able to have an Open House this year.  Each teacher chose a way to showcase some of the learning that has occurred in your child's classroom. Hello Trailblazer Families, Students are working hard in our classrooms! A huge Hats Off to our teachers for keeping engagement high and our students hard at work throughout these weeks of Spring! Students are eagerly awaiting Summer, but we are all so grateful for the time that we have with them on site and in our Champions Academy.   Students are beginning to finish up the final iReady diagnostic for ELA and Math. Classroom teachers will be sharing those results with you as your child's class finishes those assessments.  Please let your child's teacher know if you have any questions related to those assessments.   An email was sent this week regarding technology check in for our RCSD devices.  If your child has a device that is still at home, please send that in to school as soon as possible so that we can account for that device. Hello Trailblazer Families, Thank you for all of the support and love that you showered on our staff this week! I know they felt all of the appreciation and the special acts of kindness were much appreciated!  Thank you! Our students enjoyed a fun week of Diamond Creek Spirit Days! We also thank you for all of your support for our Canned Food Drive. We loaded up boxes and boxes of food to send to our local food banks.
