Week of March 7-11

Hello Trailblazer Families,

A highlight of our week at Diamond Creek was having our Village Rally outside with all students! It was amazing to see our Villages back together doing their chant, learning our new habit, and practicing this together. We will continue to host our meetings and rallys outside unless there are updated changes and protocols we need to follow.

At our Village Rally we kicked off and reviewed Habit #6: All In This Together. We had so much fun doing our Diamond Creek chant together, reviewing all of our habits, and discussing our newest essential: Do Not Ask for a Reward. Students then had the opportunity to plant a Marigold, the helper flower, in their Village planter. We will be watching our Marigold helper flowers grow!

Our students have been practicing their Village chants and we wanted to share these with you as well! HERE are the chants if you'd like to practice at home too!

Cooley Middle School Dance Team: 2022-23 Auditions

Pre-registration opened on 3/1 for Cooley Middle School Dance Team tryouts for the 2022-23 school year. Auditions are open for incoming 6th graders and 7th-8th graders. An informational meeting will be held on Thursday, 3/24. Auditions are on 3/30, 3/31, and 4/1 (all tryout days are mandatory).To pre-register, go to our website HERE and fill out the Google Form under "Auditions 2022-23." Then print the registration packet from our website, due at the informational meeting OR at the first day of auditions. Registration packets will also be available at our informational meeting and at the Cooley front office.
