WEEKLY NEWS
Hello Diamond Creek Families! The highlight of the week for so many of us was our Diamond Creek Social Distancing Parade.  Our staff miss all of our families and students so much! Thank you for filling our hearts by waving on your driveways.  We miss you!

Our virtual learning will officially begin on April 14th after spring break.  Please make sure to have your child log in to Google Classroom each day for daily ELA, Math and Writing lessons.  Our teachers will post the two week outline of plans for the class and then will also post individual daily messages to explain the daily work.  Please reach out to our teachers if you are having trouble accessing Google Classroom or have any questions about the virtual learning assignments.  Students are to begin turning in assignments through Google Classroom and completing the work that is assigned each day.  We know this is a lot to think about! We are here to support you along this distance learning journey.

Please make sure to be reading through all email and messages sent through district communication. This will keep you up to date on information that is being shared with our RCSD community.

Our Tawalmoto Village planned another amazing virtual experience for our students and families. Please click on the link below to participate in our Virtual Village Meeting for this week. 2019-20 YEARBOOKS - DEADLINE EXTENDED TO April 8, 2020 - ORDER ONLINE
Don't miss out on this opportunity to get a wonderful yearbook filled with special memories of the school year.  Yearbooks are printed only for those who prepay as it is a custom book made just for Diamond Creek Elementary.  We will make sure students receive their yearbooks once they arrive.

Week of September 7-11

WEEKLY NEWS We had an exciting week at Diamond Creek with our Special Sorting Day Zoom Rally for our TK/Kinder and all new students to Diamond Creek!! Over 110 students found out their Village on Wednesday morning!  Then we kicked off our Villages on Thursday with an all school rally which was completed in individual classrooms via Zoom.  Linked below are the 7 Habits we discuss at Diamond Creek. Over the school year, we will spend time each month reviewing one of the 7 Habits along with the essentials that align with each Habit.  Habit #1: I'm in Charge of Me will be our focus in two weeks!  Feel free to print and use these posters at home as well. Hello Trailblazer Families, We hope you all had a great week! Congratulations to all of our Diamond Creek students for all of their hard work and support of our Pennies for Patients Drive. Our total as of today was $11,052!!  Students had a huge, strong effort throughout these three weeks. Thank you for all of your support. A reminder there is no school on Monday, February 8th in honor of Lincoln's Birthday.  Enjoy the long weekend!  Village T-shirts If you are in need of a new Village T-shirt we will be doing another order!
