Week of May 29 - June 2

What's Coming Up This Week? May 29-June 2
This week our choir students performed an amazing concert on Tuesday night for a packed MPR! I am absolutely amazed at the musicality and stage presence of our young singers.  If someone was just listening, you would think they were Middle School students for sure! Hats off to Mrs. Dahl for all of her work with our students in the mornings before school and a huge thank you to all of our students and parents for getting up early to rehearse.

We finished our CAASPP testing this week.  Our students in grades 2-5 began iReady testing this week which is a diagnostic we use four times throughout the year to measure student progress. We use this data in our PLCs to plan intervention.  The spring data will help us measure progress and also give us some valuable information as we head into the Fall.

A huge thank you to all of our 2nd grade families and grandparents who came to grandparents day on Friday.  I loved listening to the stories from our grandparents and seeing our 2nd graders perform.  Thank you to our 2nd grade teachers for planning such a special day for our families.

Beginning on Tuesday our staff will have a different dress code each day! We will see if your students can guess what the dress code is each day!
