Week of March 27-31

What's Coming Up This Week? March 27-31
Mark your calendar! This Friday is our Drop & Walk day. We are encouraging students to either walk or bike to school or get dropped off at one of our supervised drop locations and walk the rest of the way to school. This is a great way for students to get some exercise right away in the morning, socialize with friends and it helps our traffic flow of cars. Check out the flyer attached to this email for Drop Off and Walk locations.

We are looking for a few volunteers to be located at our Drop Off locations as well to help with student traffic.  There was a SignUp Genius sent to all Diamond Creek families with the link. Thank you!

Just a friendly reminder to please keep dogs at home and off campus when you drop off and pick up your students. This is for student safety and is a district policy.

Morning Safety Patrol
We now have some 4th and 5th grade students who are helping us with our bus loop in the mornings.  They will have orange vests on and be standing in the large bus loop.  Please pull up all the way to the end of the loop when entering and our 4th and 5th graders will help open doors and greet your students.  This allows the students to hop right out so that you as a driver can continue moving through the bus loop.  Please remember to always form one line in the bus loop, we have been close to some accidents from cars trying to go around cars.  Please wait in line for your turn to pull up, do not form another line to go around cars.

We ask that you are not using your cell phone while driving on to our campus to pick up or drop off students, this can be distracting and cause unsafe conditions for our students. We want to make sure to keep our students safe, please drive slow and use patience in the bus loops.

Adult supervision begins at 8:45 am, please do not have students arrive on campus before this time.  Thank you
