Week of April 3-7

What's Coming Up This Week? April 3-7
What a great week we had at Diamond Creek! Our second graders were building robots with the Genius mobile that visited their classrooms. It was exciting to see their creativity shining through in the way they each built such different robots.  On Thursday our second and third graders attended field trips and came back with smiles and great stories to share of their learning. Something new that we have added to Diamond Creek is our Student News.  We now have a green screen for students to create videos. Our Student Council is now using the green screen to produce new broadcasts that our students watch on Mondays for all important information.  Check out one of our broadcasts on the link below!

Morning Safety Patrol
We now have some 4th and 5th grade students who are helping us with our bus loop in the mornings.  They will have orange vests on and be standing in the large bus loop.  Please pull up all the way to the end of the loop when entering and our 4th and 5th graders will help open doors and greet your students.  This allows the students to hop right out so that you as a driver can continue moving through the bus loop.  Please remember to always form one line in the bus loop, we have been close to some accidents from cars trying to go around cars.  Please wait in line for your turn to pull up, do not form another line to go around cars.

We ask that you are not using your cell phone while driving on to our campus to pick up or drop off students, this can be distracting and cause unsafe conditions for our students. We want to make sure to keep our students safe, please drive slow and use patience in the bus loops.

Adult supervision begins at 8:45 am, please do not have students arrive on campus before this time.  Thank you
