Week of June 12-16

What's Coming Up This Week? June 12-13
We had a great field day today! The weather was perfect, not rainy and not too hot.  The students were laughing, racing and having a great time playing at each station. Thank you to all of our parents who made this day happen for our students. We appreciate all of the volunteers that helped organize and put this event together. THANK YOU!

This week is a short week as we end the 2016-17 school year.  A reminder that both Monday and Tuesday are minimum days and students will be dismissed at 2:05.

I also wanted to take this time to thank you for all of your support this school year.  I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to lead this school and community.  The students, staff, and families are so caring and welcoming here at Diamond Creek.  Thank you for welcoming me into your community!  Have a wonderful summer!

I also wanted to let you know that next year when you receive mail from me I will be "Angela Garcia".   My husband and I got married this past January but I waited to officially change my name at school until the 2017-18 school year so that students and families were not confused mid-year. Thank you!

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)
All incoming 3rd through 5th grade students will have the opportunity to bring their own device to Diamond Creek next year.  We had three classrooms this spring that piloted this for us as our district is now a BYOD district.  You will find an attachment to your child's report card with more information. You can also visit the links below for more information from our district.

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) is an initiative that enables students of the Roseville City School District to bring their own device from home to enhance their educational experience. This initiative allows for more of our students in the district to have a device to use during classroom instruction.

Summer Feeding
We have 5 sites that will be providing summer meals to the community:
